Bliss CBD uses a low-temperature and low-pressure extract (Sub-Critical Extract) which does not need to use Ethanol to clean the residue left over from harsh extraction processes. Bliss CBD’s process of extraction is the best in the industry, and we will explain why. But first, we will talk about a different type of extraction process that most other CBD companies use and why they use it.
Most CBD companies use a CO2 extraction method that is high-temperature and high-pressure (Super Critical Extract), yielding hemp extract that is black and tar like. These companies use this form of extraction because it is cheap and extracts a high volume of oil. But the problem is the oil that is extracted is un-pure and contains compounds that need to be taken out. To do this the, companies must “Winterize” the oil and what that means is, they now have to add a chemical solvent called ethanol to the extract so they can separate the lipids, waxes, and chlorophyll.
Bliss CBD's unique extraction method yields the highest levels of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial compounds - without using all the harsh chemicals to "purify" the oil. Using low heat and low pressure ensures that we can extract using the rawest and purest natural hemp extract possible. Because of this process we don't have to worry about taking out anything that shouldn't be there and isn't beneficial to our customers. A full spectrum extraction of the whole hemp plant guarantees that we don't miss out on anything beneficial hemp has for us! Using isolated CBD crystals can't give you the same results as our Whole Hemp Process.
